Responsibilities
Execute high-precision structural concrete take-offs and develop comprehensive cost estimates using industry-leading software
Evaluate a high volume of bid invitations to identify opportunities that align with our core expertise
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients, delivering professional project quotes and addressing complex pre-construction inquiries
Manage and leverage relationships with material suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and accurate procurement forecasting
Provide executive management with detailed reasoning for estimates, including labor units per yard, manpower requirements, and realistic project schedules
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience in structural concrete estimating
Comprehensive knowledge of concrete-specific metrics (labor, equipment, and production rates) and a proven ability to interpret complex structural drawings
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or 5–10 years of equivalent senior-level industry experience
A low-ego, high-ownership professional who values integrity, accountability, and the 'family-first' culture of a growing enterprise
Preferred
Experience within a General Contractor (GC) environment or a specialized structural concrete firm is highly preferred
