The selected engineer will review industrial motor installations in classified hazardous locations and provide engineering letters confirming compliance with applicable codes.

Review technical drawings and installation details
Evaluate motor and junction box modification
Assess compliance with:
NFPA 70 (NEC)
NFPA 500
NFPA 497
Provide written engineering opinion
Issue signed and sealed compliance letter
Qualification
Required
Active U.S. Professional Engineer (PE) licensed from Louisiana
Ability to stamp/seal documents
Experience with hazardous locations (Class I Div 1/2)
Strong NEC/NFPA expertise
Fast turnaround capability
Preferred
Industrial or oil & gas experience
Prior experience issuing compliance/certification letters
Third-party or consulting engineering background
