Responsibilities

Manage the monthly financial close process and drive continuous improvement in close efficiency and accuracy

Assist with preparation of consolidated U.S. GAAP financial statements, including related disclosures and management discussion materials

Provide guidance on complex and technical accounting matters, including drafting accounting position memos

Research, interpret, and implement new accounting standards and GAAP pronouncements

Review contracts and agreements to ensure appropriate accounting treatment and financial reporting

Maintain support for general journal entries and accounting documentation

Develop, maintain, and test internal controls over financial reporting in compliance with SOX requirements

Ensure accounting processes and controls meet both regulatory and operational standards

Partner closely with external auditors throughout the annual audit process

Monitor daily cash positions and bank balances

Prepare and review cash and bank reconciliations

Mentor, train, and develop accounting staff to support team growth and performance

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience

Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting

Experience managing or leading the monthly close process

ERP system experience required

Preferred

CPA strongly preferred

Public company experience preferred
