Shared Services Manager
Taylor White is a rapidly expanding multi-location services organization seeking a Shared Services Manager to centralize and optimize Accounts Payable and Payroll operations. The role involves implementing workflows, integrating systems, and supporting future acquisitions while working closely with the CFO and Regional Controllers.
Responsibilities
Lead the centralization and rollout of shared services across AP and Payroll for multi state operations
Oversee Shared Services AP, including daily coding, credit card activity, and maintaining current financials
Support AP workflows across ServiceTitan, Sage Intacct, and Ramp, while integrating Midwest entities currently on QuickBooks
Define and enforce approval workflows related to inventory purchasing and vendor payments
Serve as system owner for Ramp, optimizing the integration with Sage Intacct to improve visibility and expense recognition
Oversee Shared Services Payroll, ensuring accurate setup of earnings, departments, and commissions in Paycor
Establish scalable processes that ensure accuracy, timeliness, and internal control strength
Identify risk areas and implement appropriate workflow and policy enhancements
Provide meaningful insights and trend analysis to leadership regarding spend and expense management
Work closely with the CFO and Regional Controllers, adapting communication style based on audience
Operate with autonomy—making decisions independently while escalating only when necessary
Support growth initiatives including acquisitions, onboarding new locations, and system integrations
Contribute to ongoing shared services evolution in a dynamic, unstructured PE backed environment
Qualification
Required
Strong experience in Accounts Payable; Payroll experience preferred but not required
Proven track record of implementing and improving processes in a dynamic environment
Ability to work across multiple systems: Sage Intacct, ServiceTitan, Paycor, Ramp, and QuickBooks
Strong communication skills — must be comfortable picking up the phone, aligning expectations, and running point on process rollout
Confident, assertive, and capable of influencing stakeholders at varying levels of sophistication
Comfortable working in an unstructured environment with busier cycles (45–50 hours during acquisitions)
Demonstrated autonomy, problem solving ability, and ownership mindset
Ability to support multi state operations in a remote capacity
Background check required at offer (no drug test)

Payroll experience preferred but not required
Prior experience in PE backed, acquisitive, or high growth organizations strongly preferred
