Competent at Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Access, Outlook
Must be proficient at verbal and written communications
Qualification
Required
Experienced Mechanical design engineer needed to design automation machines and/or metalworking machines (chamfering machines) complete, as well as modifications of existing machinery
Great variety of projects, most are for automation machines with CNC Lathes and Mills in a work cell or special metalworking machines
Must have solid design skills, ability to develop creative solutions and able to do design calculations to ensure design integrity
Experience in a manufacturing environment is required, knowledge of machine tools is a huge plus
SolidWorks experience is required
Must also be able to interact with customers for both quoting and project managing
Responsibilities include new designs, design modifications, layouts and sales support
