Responsibilities
Assist in management of multiple engineering projects; prioritize tasks and assign team members to ensure that the team's overall resources are used effectively and that project deadlines are met
Evaluate and authorize changes that significantly impact the scope, budget, or timeline of a project
Lead engineering projects; monitor progress and performance against the project plan; identify and resolve operational problems and minimize delays
Manage ongoing relationships with external contractors so that the organization receives satisfactory standards of service
Qualification
Required
Professional mastery of a specialized field of expertise that typically requires a college degree or equivalent
Professional knowledge gained through substantial applicable work experience
Minimum of 4 or more years experience
Ability to prioritize tasks and assign team members effectively
Experience in evaluating and authorizing changes that significantly impact the scope, budget, or timeline of a project
Ability to lead engineering projects and monitor progress and performance against the project plan
Skill in identifying and resolving operational problems and minimizing delays
Experience in managing ongoing relationships with external contractors
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Attention to detail in making evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual information
