Human Resources Business Partner
CareersInFood.com is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Business Partner to join their team at their Baltimore facility. This role will support a wide range of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and training while fostering a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities
Serve as a strategic advisor to managers and leaders on workforce planning, organizational design, and employee development
Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation
Partner with Talent Acquisition to support recruiting strategies and workforce planning
Lead HR initiatives including engagement surveys, culture programs, and change management efforts
Conduct investigations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and develop action plans to improve employee experience and retention
Support compensation, benefits, and performance review cycles
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Excellent internal and external customer service skills
Proficiency in HRIS systems (UKG Pro) and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
5+ years of HR experience preferred
Experience in manufacturing preferred
