Responsibilities
Lead complex tax planning and compliance for not-for-profit clients including private foundations, trade associations, and charitable organizations
Oversee preparation and review of Form 990, 990-PF, and related filings
Provide strategic tax advisory on charitable giving, UBIT, excise taxes, and compliance matters
Develop and mentor tax staff and seniors
Collaborate with audit and advisory teams on comprehensive client service
Build and maintain strong client relationships with executive directors and boards
Qualification
Required
CPA or EA required
10-12+ years of sophisticated NFP tax experience
Deep expertise in private foundation taxation, UBIT, excise taxes, and Form 990 compliance
Proven leadership and team management experience
Partnership-ready with strong business development mindset
Preferred
Big 4 or strong regional firm background preferred (RSM, BDO, Cohn Reznick)
