Legal Operations Coordinator
Capital Rights Law is seeking a Legal Operations Coordinator to manage and resolve complex escalations related to legal operations and service delivery. This role involves supporting legal workflow accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution while collaborating closely with lawyers and internal teams.

Responsibilities
Manage operations and escalations related to legal workflows, missed deadlines, quality issues, and complaints
De-escalate high-tension situations and ensure professional, compliant resolution
Perform fact-finding and root cause analysis; implement corrective actions
Coordinate with Lawyers, Paralegals, Support, Compliance, and Ops leadership
Communicate findings, resolutions, and next steps clearly
Document escalations and outcomes in internal systems
Identify recurring issues and recommend process/training improvements
Help build and maintain escalation SOPs/playbooks and service recovery standards
Interview lawyers, support selection decisions, and evaluate operational readiness
Onboard lawyers and assist with day-to-day operational concerns (tools, workflows, coordination)
Qualification
Required
5+ years of legal experience with a strong working knowledge of legal processes, deadlines, and documentation standards
3+ years of operations experience coordinating cross-functional teams, workflows, and time-sensitive deliverables
2+ years of escalation management experience handling high-stakes or sensitive concerns calmly, professionally, and effectively
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to navigate difficult conversations with clients and internal stakeholders
Excellent organizational skills with strong follow-through and attention to detail
Experience in legal operations, legal services, legal tech, and/or high-volume legal environments
Some experience supporting startups and/or tech-enabled teams, with comfort operating in fast-changing environments
Some experience with collections-related work (e.g., debt recovery workflows, demand/notice processes, account escalations, or coordinating with collections teams)
Preferred
Paralegal certification and/or formal legal education (studied law) is preferred
Familiarity with CRM, case management, and/or ticketing platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Clio, MyCase, Zendesk, Jira)
