Responsibilities

Contacting various law enforcement agencies on a quarterly basis to inquire about the amount of calls for police service or self-initiated law enforcement activity that have been received at licensed gambling establishments
Reviewing initial information as received and determining which calls require additional information and requesting full criminal reports from various law enforcement agencies
Collecting, analyzing, and reviewing incident reports as received from licensed gambling establishments and comparing with calls for service from law enforcement to ensure compliance with the gambling control act
Maintaining appropriate professional relationships with other law enforcement agencies in requesting and receiving information
Preparing reports for submission to the California Gambling Control Commission for consideration during card room licensure renewals
Ensuring appropriate personally identifying information is redacted from reports submitted to the Commission

Required

Under the general direction of the Special Agent Supervisor, the Analyst I (AN I) is responsible for the administration of the calls for service project which includes: contacting various law enforcement agencies on a quarterly basis to inquire about the amount of calls for police service or self-initiated law enforcement activity that have been received at licensed gambling establishments
Reviewing initial information as received and determining which calls require additional information and requesting full criminal reports from various law enforcement agencies
Collecting, analyzing, and reviewing incident reports as received from licensed gambling establishments and comparing with calls for service from law enforcement to ensure compliance with the gambling control act
Maintaining appropriate professional relationships with other law enforcement agencies in requesting and receiving information
