Responsibilities
Creating and reviewing designs for geotechnical projects
Performing geotechnical engineering analyses
Utilizing tools such as various software for geotechnical computation (e.g. Rocscience Suite, DEEPEX, etc.)
Using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop efficient and innovative solutions
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in Design Engineering, including analyzing and developing specialty foundation, shoring and slope stabilization designs
Experience with Geotechnical and Earthquake Engineering principles
Skilled in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software
Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in geotechnical
Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
Preferred
Graduate degree preferred
Experience with Finite Element Analysis (PLAXIS or similar) preferred
Some experience with basic programming preferred (visual basic and python in particular)
