Responsibilities
Provide leadership, guidance, and coordination of daily activities to ensure production schedules are met
Monitor workflow, assign tasks, and optimize workloads to maintain efficiency and quality
Oversee training, onboarding, and continuous development of team members on processes, safety, and quality standards
Ensure team adherence to safety protocols and company policies while promoting a culture of safety
Actively troubleshoot and resolve production or process issues, escalating complex problems to management or engineering
Support and drive lean manufacturing efforts, including 5S, kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain effective communication with cross-functional teams such as engineering, quality, and maintenance
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S standards
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/GED required
3–5 years of experience in manufacturing or relevant production environments
Demonstrated leadership experience in production, assembly, machining, or specialized areas
Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities related to production equipment and processes
Proficiency in ERP systems for tracking production data, inventory, and documentation
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
Familiarity with metrology tools and quality inspection processes
CNC programming experience and mastery of manual and CNC machines
Preferred
Associate degree in manufacturing, operations, or related field
CMM experience
Forklift experience and certification
