InternCampbell County Health is the most comprehensive healthcare provider in the State of Wyoming. The Radiology Intern performs a variety of diagnostic radiology procedures under supervision, ensuring patient preparation and maintaining equipment cleanliness.

Responsibilities
Obtains and verifies appropriate physician order
Obtains appropriate medical history before patient examination
Prepares patients for their examinations
Performs appropriate diagnostic procedures as ordered
Assists radiologist when performing special procedures and fluoroscopy
Maintains cleanliness of all radiology equipment rooms
Maintains adequate stock of supplies in weekly assigned room
Performs PACS function
Performs exams per department routine
Ensures that expenditures for job related activities are within budgetary constraints
Maintains confidentiality of all personnel and patient care and relations information
Actively participates in Customer/Guest Relations and Mandatory Education programs
Review of patient records for information needed for procedures (i.e. labs, previous procedures etc.)
Utilizes HIS and ED computer charting systems to obtain and chart pertinent patient information for transportation and exam purposes
Must be free from governmental sanctions involving health care and/or financial practices
Complies with the hospital’s Corporate Compliance Program including, but not limited to, the Code of Conduct, laws and regulations, and hospital policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned. This list is non-exhaustive
Qualification
Required
Current enrollment from a School of Radiology Technology
Special License obtained by the State of Wyoming Board of Radiologic Technologists
Must be free from governmental sanctions involving health care and/or financial practices
Complies with the hospital's Corporate Compliance Program including, but not limited to, the Code of Conduct, laws and regulations, and hospital policies and procedures
Preferred
Experience in Diagnostic X-Ray is preferred
