Project Manager

The Project Manager will support regulatory and compliance initiatives, leading cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of action items and continuous risk mitigation.

Responsibilities
Lead and execute compliance-focused projects, defining scope, risks, timelines, and deliverables
Manage the successful execution of the CMM Tactical Implementation Plan, ensuring action owners complete tasks on time
Monitor regulatory requirements (e.g., CPUC, FERC, OEIS, CAISO) and support adherence to evolving standards
Identify, assess, and mitigate project and compliance risks
Escalate changes, risks, and delays as needed and update project documentation accordingly
Act as a liaison between departments, senior leadership, and external auditors
Support updates to procedures and guidance documents to meet internal compliance requirements
Provide regular status reporting and insights to senior stakeholders
Support compliance training initiatives as required
Qualification
Required
3-10+ years of experience in project management, compliance, legal, or regulatory roles
Strong experience managing complex, cross-functional projects
Moderate knowledge of utility or energy industry regulations
Proven ability to identify and manage risk and change
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Visio)
Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or a related field
Preferred
Experience working in regulated utility or energy environments
Strong analytical and documentation skills
Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority
