Office Administrator
Argonne National Laboratory is a leading research facility that provides advanced tools for scientific research. The User Program Office Administrator supports the user community and facility by managing communications, user registrations, and various administrative tasks to ensure compliance and smooth operations.

Responsibilities
Various reporting outputs for facility and DOE
US user and visitor registration processing
Interactions with various user platforms and processes
Meeting support and logistics (virtual links, space reservations, food orders, honoraria, travel arrangements and tracking, etc.)
Office purchasing and procurement, purchase requisitions for users
User Portal check in processing and gate pass requests
Office IT property and authorities tracking
User site access management/Portal check-in
Office point of contact for the Argonne Information Center
User safety training
User inquiries and correspondence
May be required to perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and ability to interact with people at all levels both within and outside the laboratory
Skills for working in a team environment
Ability to handle multiple requests with accuracy and timeliness
Ability to handle matters with confidentiality and discretion
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products
Ability to model Argonne's core values of impact, safety, respect, integrity, and teamwork
SA2: High school Diploma and 4+ years of related experience or equivalent
SA3: High school Diploma and 8+ years of related experience or equivalent
Preferred
Work experience in an administrative setting
Experience in meeting/conference coordination
Knowledge of Argonne's standard business systems and practices
