Responsibilities

Analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate training and associated course material as defined in Technical Instructions and Navy program guidance
Determine course content and learner objectives; prepare detailed syllabi, lesson plans, and student manuals tailored to MH 60R/S operators
Evaluate and revise training materials to keep courses current with aircraft software, hardware, and mission updates
Support to engineer team in the lab. This will be for a Dynamic Evaluation of the system
Maintain class records; develop, administer, and score assessments
Counsel students, monitor performance, and provide corrective feedback
Generate technical documentation that supports operational tasks and fleet sustainment

Required

Qualified Instructor Status – Hold a basic qualification as an MH 60R or MH 60S Instructor (formerly listed as “Qualified Instructor”)
Navy Process Knowledge – Understanding of U.S. Navy processes and structure at the program office, flight test, and squadron levels; familiarity with Naval Helicopter Program processes
Operational Background – Pilot or aircrew experience providing real world perspective to training design
Systems Engineering (SE) Fundamentals – Knowledge of SE practices, system requirement specifications, and Design Analysis Review (DAR) publications
DoD Training Standards – Experience developing training in compliance with TRADOC 350 70, NAVEDTRA 130 series, MIL HDBK 29612, and other DoD directives
Instructional System Design (ISD) – Proven ability to develop SCORM compliant courses using ADDIE methodology
Technical Authoring Tools – Proficiency with XML/SGML editors (FrameMaker, Arbortext, Epic Editor) and Adobe Captivate for interactive content creation
Leadership & Initiative – Self motivated, capable of leading projects, mentoring teammates, and assuming new responsibilities
Independent & Team Work – Able to work autonomously with direction or collaboratively within a team
Adaptability & Learning Agility – Fast learner, capable of thriving in a dynamic environment
Travel Flexibility – Willingness to travel to customer sites to facilitate on site training and curriculum validation
