Responsibilities

Monitor overall productivity of the branch and progress toward performance goals
Direct, coordinate, and monitor activities to implement Bank’s policies, procedures, and practices concerning granting or extending lines of credit, commercial loans, real estate loans and consumer credit loans
Manage activities involving the implementation of Bank services and functions including collecting delinquent accounts, authorizing loans
Engages in business development activities and solicitation of new business; actively involved in instilling and maintaining a positive sales environment through education of the Bank’s products and services
Represents the Bank in various community, civic, and community reinvestment functions to further enhance the Bank’s image and develop additional business; assists the Bank in establish and maintaining market position in the financing arena
Develops and maintains knowledge of financial industry, economy market conditions, rates, vendors and competition
Consistently applies superior decision making techniques pertaining to inquiries, approvals and requests as they apply to existing policies and procedures, keeping within assigned approval limits
Plays a positive role in the development and growth of branch staff though excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong delegations skills assuring a highly cross trained staff
Provide supervisory support to all Branch personnel
Directly responsible for ensuring that all employees provide exceptional quality customer service
Coordinate sales activities and support Bank promotions within the branch
Follow procedures for custody and control of assets, records, loan collateral and securities to ensure safekeeping
Attend all sales and product knowledge training and promotional meetings offered in order to keep current on all issues
Perform personnel actions including performance evaluations, disciplinary actions and interviewing candidates for employment; supervise the daily activities of the branch including, but not limited to, effective delegation of assignments, developing work schedules and providing necessary training
Responsible for being familiar with all compliance regulations and policies that are applicable to this position and follow and ensure compliance with these regulations and policies

Required

High School diploma or equivalent required
Four (4) years of work experience, demonstrating progressive responsibility including management responsibilities
One (1) year banking or closely related financial services experience
Knowledge of bank operations and products
Knowledge of basic accounting
Knowledge of and training on federal and state consumer compliance laws
Ability to review account information and assess client needs to recommend appropriate Bank products, as demonstrated in previous banking position
Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Excellent communication skills, as demonstrated in previous position interacting with customers
Excellent customer service skills

Preferred

Undergraduate degree in finance or related field preferred
Lending Experience Preferred
Personal Banking/New Account and Supervisory experience preferred
