Responsibilities

Build a mobile application (iOS/Android) and a web interface supported by a Java-based backend and an Oracle database

Allow full data entry, checklist completion, and photo capture without an active internet connection

Automatic, background syncing of local data to the central database once connectivity is restored, featuring conflict resolution

Automatic capture of GPS coordinates for structures and individual inspection photos

Implementation of OAuth 2.0 for role-based access control across all platforms

Deliver high-level architecture, API documentation, and Oracle database schema

Ensure the backend can handle complex synchronization tasks and photo metadata storage

Develop functional iOS and Android builds

Develop local storage logic (caching master data) and camera/GPS integration

Integrate the system, validate end-to-end workflow, and transfer knowledge to internal staff

Qualification

Required

React Native (minimum 5 years experience required)

At least 5 years of professional mobile development

Expert-level knowledge of Java backend services

Experience with Oracle, specifically in designing for performance and geospatial analysis
