Onsite Manager

Spherion Northwest Ohio is seeking an Onsite Manager for a key client located in South Charleston, OH. The Onsite Manager will be responsible for the recruitment and management of a temporary workforce, ensuring compliance with policies and fostering client relationships.

Responsibilities

Develop a collaborative relationship and maintain proactive involvement with the client to ensure maximum business development, total client satisfaction and employee retention
Develop and implement an effective recruiting strategy to ensure the availability of qualified flexible/full time employees in order to meet current and anticipated needs
Communicate and coordinate the various aspects of On-site operations to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures as well as local, state and federal laws and guidelines (Worker’s Compensation, Unemployment, HR, Legal, WOTC, Account Management System, etc.)
Coordinate order activity, monitor performance and manage revenue of affiliate vendors in accordance with negotiated guidelines
Follow up on pay/bill related issues to insure timely resolution, as well as assure client payments are made within 30 days or less
Assist in the completion of feasibility/operational studies, analysis of sales opportunities and interact with the client to identify future flexible staffing needs
Prepare, customize and analyze reports, identify trends/problems areas, review results and recommend problem resolution and improvements to the client/affiliate vendors
Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all On-site activities
Develop specialized screening and testing as contracted by the client
Implement all corporate programs and initiatives in a timely manner
Develop effective strategies to identify qualified candidates for potential internal hires
Develop a fully operational and qualified staff by hiring and training employees according to established company and legal guidelines
Coach and counsel associates on behavioral and performance issues, document and take corrective action as necessary
Conduct annual staff performance reviews
Foster a work environment that will motivate and retain staff

Required

Minimum of 2 years related business experience with strong emphasis on customer service in a sales driven organization
Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
Ability to effectively operate with a lack of privacy in client surroundings
Ability to create and work outside a structured environment
Ability to understand financial concepts
Creative and business writing skills (policies, quarterly/annual reviews, performance objectives, marketing materials, etc.)
Adaptability, flexibility and the ability to maintain effectiveness during change
Ability to maintain company loyalty by establishing balance between the client and Spherion Services Inc
Computer literacy
Ability to work flexible/extended hours when necessary
