Responsibilities
Directly support a multi-site hardware installation project, implementing an Enterprise Palo Alto Software Defined Wide Area Network (SDWAN) platform
Participate in the preparation, installation, and validation of individual remote site SDWAN hardware, software, and communication links
Analyze and resolve on-site hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion and provide updates to project leads
Configure and deploy SDWAN appliances into existing remote site warehouse facilities
Access network equipment to update configurations
Troubleshoot local connectivity issues to facilitate deployment of SDWAN appliances
Review/contribute to deployment documentation updates for optimized processes
Engage with project and on-site resources to complete equipment exchange/deployments

Required
Directly support a multi-site hardware installation project, implementing an Enterprise Palo Alto Software Defined Wide Area Network (SDWAN) platform
Participate in the preparation, installation, and validation of individual remote site SDWAN hardware, software, and communication links
Analyze and resolve on-site hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion and provide updates to project leads
Remote site environments are primarily Cisco network and Palo Alto security hardware
Collaborative attitude and mature skills in the areas of networking (Layer 1 & Layer 2), hardware removal/installation and working in time-sensitive remote site operational environments
Strong communication skills when dealing with team members and on-site customers
Able to follow documented processes with attention to detail
Comfortable communicating with both technical peers and non-technical business resources
Proficient hardware troubleshooting experience
Competence with testing tools/procedures for networks and data circuits
Strong interpersonal, written, and oral English communication skills
Ability to present technical information in user-friendly language
Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
Mature analytical and problem-solving abilities
Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment
Strong customer service orientation
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Ability to travel domestically (US, lower 48 states)
Valid driver's license
80+% travel expected
Configure and deploy SDWAN appliances into existing remote site warehouse facilities
Access network equipment to update configurations
Troubleshoot local connectivity issues to facilitate deployment of SDWAN appliances
Review/contribute to deployment documentation updates for optimized processes
Engage with project and on-site resources to complete equipment exchange/deployments
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2-4 years hands-on experience of networking/telecommunications delivery
Proven experience and success with LAN, WAN, and WLAN implementation and troubleshooting
Strong, hands-on technical knowledge of network operating systems, including Cisco IOS
Proficient use of packet analyzers, network assessment tools (Wireshark, Sniffer)
Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and Internet standards, including TCP/IP, UDP, IPV4, VoIP, QOS, EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
Desirable to possess a Cisco CCNA certification with wireless, routing, switching and security
Knowledge and practical experience with SDWAN technologies is beneficial
