Responsibilities
Providing support across various departments under financial services
Maintain operational continuity across our core financial departments: Accounts Payable, Payroll and Accounting
Ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices
Managing vendor communication and executing payment runs while adhering to expense policies
Processing on and off-cycle payrolls
Verifying time data
Processing wages, deductions, and tax calculations with attention to detail and compliance with labor laws
Performing month-end closing activities, including preparing journal entries
Assisting with bank and balance sheet reconciliations
Ensuring activity is accurately reported in the General Ledger
Qualification
Required
3+ years progressive experience in an accounting or finance role, with demonstrated experience in both Accounts Payable and Payroll
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict deadlines
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
Preferred
Bachelors degree is preferred, but not required
Related experience in a health care environment using PeopleSoft software tools is strongly preferred
