Responsibilities

Work with engagement team to help our clients make infrastructure decisions that strategically align with organizational objectives
Utilize writing skills to effectively document observations and recommendations gathered through interviews and data analysis
Participate in team problem solving efforts and offer ideas to solve client issues
Maintain responsibility for completion and accuracy of work products
Review, analyze, and recommend improvements to construction management processes and internal controls
Assist with construction contract audits, compliance reviews, and project oversight and monitoring functions for capital projects
Work with engagement teams to perform field work, including data collection, analysis, and work paper documentation; prepare, edit, and proofread narrative reports and presentations of observations and recommendations

Required

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire. Baker Tilly will not consider candidates for this position who require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g., H-1B, STEM OPT)
Must have completed or be enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree, Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, Construction Management, or Accounting preferred
Must reside within a commutable distance to a Baker Tilly office and be willing to work on-site
Eligible candidates must have academic courses remaining at the end of the internship; Candidates in year three of a 4-year degree program, or in year four of a 5-year program, preferred
Must have a current, accepted offer with Baker Tilly (formerly Moss Adams)

Technology-related coursework highly desirable
Willingness to travel to client locations, including overnight stays, with travel expectations varying by department and office location
Flexibility to work overtime or additional hours, including evenings and weekend, as needed
