Responsibilities

Diagnose and troubleshoot server hardware issues to identify root causes with support from remote teams

Coordinate procurement, replacement, installation, and return of faulty hardware components

Perform server firmware upgrades and ensure compliance with approved system versions

Configure server IP addresses and default access credentials following standard procedures

Support network administrators with cable management, optics replacement, and hardware upgrades

Rack, stack, and cable servers and network devices to enable remote configuration and validation

Perform structured cabling based on approved wiring diagrams and validate connectivity

Conduct physical audits and inspections of servers, components, and inventory assets

Provide on-site technical assistance for ad hoc server and network-related requests

Required

Strong knowledge of server hardware and data center operations

Experience with troubleshooting, cabling, and hardware installations
