Responsibilities
Managing Construction Management Projects CMAR, proposals, contracts
Estimating materials on projects for customer quotes
Hard Bid and Conceptual Estimating
Providing excellent customer service
Setting appointments with potential customers, preparing quotes on projects and selling project to contacts
Reviews all shop drawings prior to approval, issues RFI’s as needed and expedites shop drawing approvals
Efficient project scheduling
Contract Management
Qualification
Required
Excellent construction knowledge of project management and estimating materials and systems
10 year history of successful performance in a similar position
Knowledge of current building codes for design of building elements
Previous estimating experience in the steel or metal buildings industry and/or wood building components
Ability to contribute effectively in a team environment
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
Strong ability to analyze and strategically plan projects
Strong computer skills, including knowledge of MS Word and Excel, Planswift/BlueBeam, Procore, Submittal Exchange
Willingness and means to travel and a valid driver's license
Preferred
4 Year Construction Management or Civil Engineering Degree
10 years Commercial Construction Estimating/Project Management of projects $1-40 Million
