Senior LevelAgility Partners is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join a banking client and help build modern, high-quality backend services. You’ll be a hands-on member of an agile squad, contributing across architecture, development, testing, and delivery while helping elevate engineering standards and best practices.

Responsibilities
Design and deliver new features while improving application quality, performance, and reliability
Work hands-on within an agile squad, participating in ceremonies and team collaboration
Contribute to system design and architecture; write clean, testable, and maintainable code using TDD
Participate in code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
Support operational excellence through automation and production readiness
Engage in engineering communities of practice
Qualification
Required
Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
Strong experience with Java (17+) and Spring / Spring Boot
Experience building microservice-based backend services
Familiarity with agile/scrum development practices
Experience with Git, GitHub, CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, JFrog), and Docker
Solid understanding of secure, modern software development practices
