Desktop Support Technician
Prospect Infosystem Inc. is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide expert level technical assistance for end-user hardware and applications. The role requires extensive knowledge in desktop technology and involves resolving escalated support issues from an internal Service Desk.
Responsibilities
Provide expert level technical assistance in preparation and support of end-user hardware and applications
Receive escalated level support issues from an internal Service Desk
Independently perform a variety of desktop related tasks and serve as a desktop support expert resolving end user issues
Qualification
Required
End-user Technical support of Windows environments (5+ years)
Technical support of Windows 10 or Windows 11 (5+ years)
Installation and support of Microsoft Office Suite (5+ years)
Extensive knowledge with desktop technology (5+ years)
Expert level experience in a Desktop Support position
Familiarity with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures relating to Desktop Support
Ability to independently perform a variety of desktop related tasks
Wide degree of problem solving, creativity, self-direction, prioritization
