Senior Project Designer
Bespoke Careers is a dynamic, design-driven architecture firm seeking a Senior Project Designer to lead impactful projects from concept through completion. The role involves managing multiple small- to mid-scale projects, shaping project direction, and collaborating with talented designers and architects in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate all aspects of multiple small- and mid-sized projects, overseeing scope, schedule, budget, and team performance
Serve as a primary liaison to clients, delivering presentations, progress updates, proposals, and documentation while maintaining strong relationships
Provide leadership to project teams—delegating tasks, determining staffing needs, mentoring team members, and fostering a collaborative work environment
Develop project work plans and oversee architectural work from concept/schematic design through construction administration
Participate in quality assurance and control, construction administration, jobsite visits, and resolution of project issues, RFIs, and submittals
Qualification
Required
Lead and coordinate all aspects of multiple small- and mid-sized projects, overseeing scope, schedule, budget, and team performance
Serve as a primary liaison to clients, delivering presentations, progress updates, proposals, and documentation while maintaining strong relationships
Provide leadership to project teams—delegating tasks, determining staffing needs, mentoring team members, and fostering a collaborative work environment
Develop project work plans and oversee architectural work from concept/schematic design through construction administration
Participate in quality assurance and control, construction administration, jobsite visits, and resolution of project issues, RFIs, and submittals
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and multi-tasking abilities with proven experience managing shifting priorities and solving complex problems
Advanced knowledge of architectural building systems, construction methodologies, sustainability, design trends, and material applications
Proficiency with Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, Deltek Vision, Newforma, and Revit/BIM360
Ability to translate client ideas into compelling visual and technical documentation, with strong presentation and mentorship capabilities
Professional degree in architecture, architectural licensure, and 10+ years of post-graduate architectural experience
Preferred
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Cloud, Enscape, and SketchUp
LEED, WELL, NCARB, AIA, or related credentials
