Program Director, BSN Pathways, Assistant or Associate Professor

Georgetown University Medical Center is seeking an innovative leader for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Pathways programs. The Program Director is responsible for the oversight, management, implementation, and quality of the BSN program pathways, including a traditional four-year campus-based program and a hybrid accelerated BSN.

Responsibilities

Management, planning and coordination of all aspects of program operations
Ensuring integration of GUSON values including but not limited to antiracism, diversity, equity, and inclusion
Coordination and implementation of the curriculum to reflect current practice guidelines
Ensures accreditation requirements are met and annual out com reports are submitted
Oversees the program evaluation plan
Monitor and report program outcomes, i.e., retention/graduation rates, certification rates, and employment rates
Selection, supervision, evaluation and fostering professional development of program faculty
Collaboration with faculty and staff colleagues, as well as leadership to ensure outstanding program graduates and effective planning and implementation of future initiatives
Enhancement of the program's reputation and visibility through engagement in relevant professional activities
Teaches in area of expertise as needed
Participates in curriculum and course development
Develops and implements innovative teaching strategies
Engagement in scholarly activities such as research, publications and grant writing
Participating in program, school, university, and other committees as required
Participating in all relevant program and SON student events as required

Required

Terminal degree (research focused, practice focused e.g., DNP, PhD, EdD)
Eligible for an unencumbered RN license in the District of Columbia
Minimum of 5 years progressive leadership or administrative experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels
Prior experience with curriculum development, evaluation, and outcomes
Experience in developing course content and teaching in a variety of learning formats (face to face, hybrid, online)
Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills
Demonstrate a progressive body of scholarship
