Responsibilities
Perform walkdowns to take field notes, measurements and create field sketches in order to generate layouts and isometric
Identify design issues and make suggestions for changes
Update key plans, general routing layouts and isometrics
Develop engineering packages needed for construction
Check on the status of the construction progress and answer questions as they arise
Qualification
Required
10 years of experience as a Piping & Civil Designer
Experience with concrete foundations and structural steel design for process piping and equipment placement
Ability to identify design issues and make suggestions for changes
Solid understanding of piping specifications, routing/layout plan, isometrics w/bill of materials
Experience working with 2-d and 3d drawings
Responsible for updating key plans, general routing layouts and isometrics
Experience developing engineering packages needed for construction
Experience supporting plant engineering and plant maintenance
Preferred
Experience with Autocad / Cadworx
Experience with MOC's
