Intern, Entry LevelInstitution Lab is a cultural association seeking a detail-oriented intern or junior collaborator with an interest in data management and digital tools to support their CRM systems. The selected candidate will maintain and update records, support data management tasks, and collaborate with multiple teams to ensure data accuracy and usability.

Responsibilities
Maintaining and updating records within the institution’s databases, including CRM systems such as Salesforce
Cleaning, standardizing, and organizing contact and organizational data (naming conventions, fields, tags, and segmentation)
Supporting data imports and exports (CSV), list building, and audience segmentation for communications, membership, and development activities
Generating weekly and monthly reports and dashboards related to crowdfunding performance and engagement
Contributing to process improvements by proposing small adjustments to forms, templates, and data-entry workflows to reduce errors and inconsistencies
Collaborating with multiple departments to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability
Qualification
Required
Strong attention to detail and comfort working with structured information
Good proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel and/or Google Sheets), including filters, pivot tables, lookup functions, and data validation
Basic understanding of databases and CRM systems, or a strong willingness to learn
Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams and departments
Interest in the arts and cultural sector, with an understanding of how institutions engage audiences, members, and partners
Ability to handle sensitive data with discretion, responsibility, and professionalism
Preferred
Previous experience with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) or email/mailing platforms
Familiarity with data protection principles (GDPR) and consent management
Basic experience with reporting and data visualization
