Responsibilities
Lead collaboration with Research & Development teams, including senior subject matter experts across Preclinical Engineering, Hardware Design, and Ablation Catheter Design functions
Author, review, and finalize complex technical reports and supporting documentation for bench and in vivo preclinical studies with minimal oversight
Own and manage the document lifecycle, including version control, review coordination, approvals, and archival in accordance with internal procedures and quality systems
Ensure all documentation meets regulatory, quality, and compliance standards, and is suitable for inclusion in regulatory submissions
Provide guidance and best practices for technical writing standards, consistency, and document quality across the team
Identify opportunities to improve documentation processes, templates, and workflows to increase efficiency and consistency
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience in technical writing or documentation, preferably within the medical device, biomedical, or regulated engineering environment
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Engineering, Technical Writing, or a related physical or biological sciences discipline
Demonstrated experience supporting regulatory submissions in a regulated industry (e.g., medical devices, life sciences)
Expert-level writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compliant documentation
Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority documents while maintaining exceptional quality standards
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with document control systems is a plus
