New Grad, Entry LevelBaton Rouge General Medical Center is seeking a Receptionist for their LA Sleep Foundation. The Receptionist will manage phone calls, schedule appointments, and handle patient check-ins and billing, ensuring the clinic operates smoothly.

Responsibilities
Answer phone calls during clinic hours
Schedule appointments, send out paperwork to patients if needed and confirm their appointments
Run credit card payments and make copies for billing
Keep up with Spreadsheet for clinic billing and balance at the end of each day
Make sure the waiting room is clean at the beginning and end of each day and lock up
Prepare charts for the following week's clinic appointments
Participate in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies
Participate in the Company's Performance Management program as requested by the Performance Management Coordinator
Participate in Company committees when requested
Pursue continuing education programs appropriate to job responsibilities
Cross Train on other positions in the office to cover when needed and perform other duties as assigned by Office Manager
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Effective interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
Strong communication skills in speaking and writing
Organizational skills sufficient to maintain consistently accurate records
The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit, as well as talk and hear
The employee is required to use hands to operate vehicles and office equipment
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus
