Start in 2026 SummerTLC Engineering Solutions is a leading multidiscipline firm in the built environment, seeking a Summer Intern for their IoT and Smart Buildings program. The Intern will support the development of the Intelligent Real Estate program by assisting in sensor assembly, data mapping, and creating real-time dashboards for data visualization.

Responsibilities
Assist in the assembly, flashing, and testing of sensor boards
Map data points from Building Management Systems to our cloud dashboards
Conduct sensor "bench tests" to ensure data accuracy
Support the creation of real-time dashboards for data visualization
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing an accredited bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar
You like taking things apart or building with microcontrollers (ESP32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi)
Knowledge of C/C++ (for firmware) and Python (for data handling)
A fundamental understanding of how sensors talk to networks (Wi-Fi, MQTT, or BACnet)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to document technical 'build logs' and testing results
