Responsibilities
Produce printed products using various digital print technologies such as Xerox and Ricoh
Set up and operate digital printers and bindery equipment according to standard operating procedures
Retrieve and load appropriate paper/check stock for production runs
Locate, validate, and upload production files to printing systems
Monitor production for quality and accuracy in accordance with quality procedures
Read information from work tickets/specification sheets and acquire needed materials
Monitor stock levels within production area and initiate timely requests for replenishment
Calibrate digital presses at minimum at the beginning of each shift for MICR equipment
Perform daily care and maintenance of equipment as directed by manufacturer guidelines
Assist in other areas of the production environment including Automated Inserting
Troubleshoot and resolve computer and printing issues independently
Maintain a safe working environment and follow safety protocols
Uphold the highest level of confidentiality for production materials
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of experience in digital print production
Broad understanding of digital printing disciplines and technologies
Ability to identify problems and develop effective solutions
Capability to make decisions within well-defined parameters
Physical ability to stand/walk and monitor equipment for a minimum of 8 hours
Attention to detail and commitment to quality control
Demonstrated reliability and ability to work independently
Preferred
Experience with MICR printing
