3+ years expCyber Law Firm is seeking a skilled and seasoned litigation attorney to join their team on a contract per-case basis, with the potential to transition into a full-time role. The ideal candidate will have litigation experience and a strong interest in technology law, cybercrime, and related areas, and will handle cases from pre-litigation to trial completion.

Responsibilities
Litigation Experience a MUST
Licensed in US, and located in US is a MUST
Preferably located in NY
Minimum 3+ years of litigation/trial experience (trial-ready)
Past of individual independent case and client handling from Pre-litigation, to trial completion with no oversight
Strong interest in technology law, cybercrime, victims’ rights, copyright, bitcoin law, or emerging tech litigation
Experience teaching or mentoring other litigators is highly valued
Organizational skills
Technological skills and knowledge is a plus
Empathy, and ability to work with victims of traumatic experience
Past experience with high-profile cases, or working with media encouraged
Past experience with lobbying also encouraged
Contract, flexible schedule – primarily majority remote with occasional in-person meetings, in-person case or client work, or travel for hearings/trial as needed
Compensation: Competitive, per-case basis or hourly, depending on scope and complexity. Flexibility and ability to profit off of originated cases as well
Contract / 1099 role – you manage your own taxes; eligible expenses are tax-deductible. Flexibility to onboard with more hours, and more permanent position in the future if available at the time and compatible with firm and contractor
