Program Manager – Automated Driving Systems

Responsibilities
Own end-to-end program planning, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, and key milestones for ADS and ADAS features
Build and maintain detailed program schedules, dashboards, and risk registers to drive transparency and accountability
Manage dependencies across multiple engineering disciplines, including software, systems, hardware, and validation
Anticipate risks, assess impacts, and drive mitigation or escalation to protect timing, quality, and performance targets
Lead cross-functional readiness reviews at critical milestones such as design reviews, software integration points, and validation gates
Act as the primary point of contact between engineering, product planning, global partners, and executive leadership
Translate complex technical topics into clear, concise program updates that enable confident, data-driven decisions
Facilitate collaboration and resolve conflicts across diverse teams, cultures, and time zones
Support senior leadership with executive-ready program summaries, KPI tracking, and presentations
Partner closely with System and Software Engineering teams to ensure requirements, specifications, and validation plans align with program objectives
Lead change control processes, balancing feature evolution with schedule, cost, and quality constraints
Ensure high-quality documentation and configuration management in alignment with ASPICE, ISO 26262, and internal governance standards
Define, track, and report KPIs such as schedule adherence, software maturity, defect trends, and validation coverage
Use data and analytics to drive continuous improvement in development efficiency, issue resolution, and cross-functional communication
Identify and implement opportunities to streamline processes, automate reporting, and improve collaboration tools
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and proactive problem-solving across all partner teams
Mentor junior program leads and engineers on program management best practices and effective cross-functional communication
Promote continuous improvement and respect for people throughout every phase of development
Qualification
Preferred
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
8+ years of experience in program or project management within automotive systems, preferably ADS or ADAS
Demonstrated success delivering complex systems or software programs in compliance with ASPICE and ISO 26262
Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills in a global environment
Proficiency with program management and engineering tools such as MS Project, JIRA, ADO, Confluence, and DOORS
PMP or equivalent certification preferred

working with ADS or ADAS systems: 5 years
owning end-to-end program delivery: 7 years
