Supply Chain Analyst Internship
Altec is an innovative company specializing in the design, manufacture, sale, and service of aerial devices and specialty equipment. They are seeking a Supply Chain Analyst Intern to assist with supplier performance, inventory management, and cost savings initiatives.

Responsibilities
Maintain supplier performance scorecards which evaluate suppliers in regards to quality, delivery and cost
Maintain supplier certification documents and assist in evaluating potential suppliers
Maintain supplier records for our governmental programs that relate to small business and diversity spend
Involvement with engineering and production associates with cost savings activities
Participate in Lean manufacturing initiatives and take part in Kaizen activities
Assist with Accounts payable projects
Maintain accurate material pricing
Procure components for the assembly lines and expedite parts accordingly
Manage inventory levels and complete projects to insure components are on hand
Initiate cost savings opportunities with suppliers
Any other special projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in business required
Preferred
A degree in one of the following majors preferred: Business
A degree in one of the following majors preferred: Supply Chain
A degree in one of the following majors preferred: Operations Management
Entering 3rd or 4th year highly preferred
Ability to work year-round highly preferred
Prior interaction with Altec team at a recruitment event highly preferred
