Responsibilities
Support the Nashville Office’s Real Estate Practice Group
Possess solid and recent real estate transactional experience, including real estate lending and/or joint venture financing
Draft senior, real estate secured loan documents and/or real estate joint venture partnership/operating agreements
Review title commitments, recorded documents, and surveys to oversee paralegal title and survey review
Represent lenders, national and regional banks, opportunity funds and borrowers in connection with real estate financings, construction loans, equity investments, syndicated investments, portfolio and syndicated credit facilities, tax credit transactions and municipal finance
Handle all types of real estate projects—office, hotel, multifamily and industrial
Represent purchasers and sellers in connection with real estate acquisitions and dispositions, and both landlords and tenants in connection with commercial leases
Qualification
Required
5th to 8th year associate
solid and recent real estate transactional experience
experience in real estate lending and/or joint venture financing
experience working on transactions involving tax credits
experience drafting senior, real estate secured loan documents
experience drafting real estate joint venture partnership/operating agreements
experience reviewing title commitments, recorded documents, and surveys
licensed to practice in Tennessee
strong writing skills
excellent academic credentials
