Responsibilities
Work authorization: U.S. Citizen preferred; Green Card holders are acceptable
Clearance/Compliance: ITAR exposure required; must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
Location: Onsite in San Diego 4–5 days per week (no remote option)
Profile: Very strong academic background with deep, hands-on experience in thermal modeling, analysis, and design within complex systems
Industry experience: Defense, aerospace, advanced electronics, or similar highly regulated environments strongly preferred
Qualification
Required
PhD-level (or equivalent) engineering role focused on thermal analysis and thermal design
U.S. Citizen preferred; Green Card holders are acceptable

Very strong academic background with deep, hands-on experience in thermal modeling, analysis, and design within complex systems
MS candidates: 3–5 years of direct CFD and thermal analysis industry experience
BS candidates: 5–8 years of direct CFD and thermal analysis industry experience
PhD candidates: Relevant post-doctoral or equivalent hands-on industry experience may be considered toward these requirements
