Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end builds of industrial automation and robotic systems: assembly, panel wiring, and integration to spec
Own floor execution for assigned projects, ensuring quality, throughput, and schedule performance
Maintain accurate, current documentation of build steps, changes, and updates
Power-up and commission systems; verify operation, run tests, and resolve faults
Partner with engineering and project management on scope adjustments and technical resolutions
Coach and mentor junior technicians; transfer knowledge and uphold production standards
Reinforce safety and quality practices; drive continuous improvement to simplify workflows and boost reliability

Required

Industrial automation and robotics knowledge; ability to translate schematics into a reliable build
Expertise in electrical prints and technical drawings
Hands-on skill in panel wiring, mechanical assembly, integration, and troubleshooting
Leadership that organizes people, parts, and priorities
Clear communication and solid decision-making
Working familiarity with UL, NEC, and safety protocols
Associate degree or technical certificate in Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Automation, or similar; or equivalent hands-on experience
5+ years building and integrating industrial control systems or automation equipment
Experience leading or mentoring a technician team in production
Proficiency in electrical wiring, testing, and fault isolation
Familiarity with robotics and motion control integration

Preferred

OSHA 10/30 preferred
Bonus: PLCs, HMIs, and motion control experience
