Responsibilities
Provide support and basic trouble shooting for machining processes and machines. Investigate, gather, and analyze data for problem resolution
Identify and execute cost reduction, quality, safety and ergonomic improvements of limited scope
Drive operational improvements through new tooling trials and cycle time optimization
Qualification
Required
Background/experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to adapt and work with ongoing changes in a manufacturing environment
Self-starter with the ability to execute a variety of tasks with little supervision
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with team members on different shifts and execute projects
Ability to identify and understand problems and solve them using data analytics
Skill in using computer aided design and/or engineering tools
Preferred
Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Experience in machining processes and tooling
Experience writing and editing CNC machine programs
Fanuc robot programming experience
Experience with SAP, JDAAT, Creo, AutoCAD, Kotem, Vericut, Ignition
Experience programming Zoller tool presetters
Knowledge of manufacturing and/or distribution processes, quality, cutting tooling, tool design
Degree in Engineering/Technology discipline preferred, or equivalent CNC machine operating and programming experience
