Healthcare Performance Improvement Project Manager

Palm Beach Accountable Care Organization is seeking a Healthcare Performance Improvement Project Manager to lead and support strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the performance of the ACO. This role focuses on operational efficiency, quality improvement, and cost reduction while ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and patient-centered care principles.

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional projects aimed at improving ACO performance metrics, including quality of care, patient outcomes, and cost efficiency
Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables
Analyze performance data to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement
Implement evidence-based interventions and best practices to address identified gaps
Partner with clinical and operational leaders to ensure alignment and integration of performance improvement initiatives
Facilitate communication and engagement among providers, payers, and other stakeholders
Ensure all projects comply with federal and state regulations, including Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) requirements
Monitor updates to ACO policies and adjust initiatives as necessary
Leverage data analytics to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure project outcomes
Prepare and present performance reports to executive leadership and ACO committees
Develop training programs to support staff and provider understanding of performance improvement initiatives
Promote a culture of continuous improvement across the organization

Required

Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, public health, business, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare project management, quality improvement, or performance improvement, preferably within an ACO or value-based care setting
Strong understanding of ACO models, value-based care, and healthcare quality metrics
Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
Exceptional analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to visitors, clients, and other employees of the organization
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
MS Office Productivity Tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Intranet
