SBA Loan Closing Coordinator

Responsibilities

Responsible for reviewing loan file and determining due diligence and documentation required close and fund the loan
Order and review third party reports including title work, UCC searches, IRS 4506, corporate entity searches
Review loan approval documents and determine steps needed to close loan in accordance to Bank and SBA policies
Work directly with client, Lender, attorneys and team to resolve due diligence issues prior to loan closing
Document loan and prepare loan packages. Coordinate loan closing with Lender and client
Post-closing responsibilities include proper booking of loan, disbursement of all loan proceeds in accordance the SBA guidelines, ensuring all liens are perfected, following up on title policy, ensuring that loan file is fully documented and in order
Ensure timely resolution of any Quality Assurance items identified in Loan Reviews
Maintain proficiency in SBA SOP requirements and Bank policies

Required

Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred and/or H.S. Diploma or GED with equivalent experience
Prior Commercial loan processing experience, SBA preferred
Thorough and deep demonstrated understanding and knowledge of SBA 7a guaranteed loan program requirements
Excellent written and oral communication skills; able to communicate effectively with all levels in and outside of the organization
Demonstrated willingness to learn, implement feedback and act
Demonstrated ability to develop strong working relationships with clients and internal partners
Demonstrated client service experience required (phone and face-to-face); track record of client interactions and proactive solution development
Ability to work with multiple matters simultaneously, managing time in a fast-paced environment and applicable resources to ensure work is completed efficiently and within established timeframes; manage projects efficiently and effectively
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking aptitude; thorough and timely follow-up skills with the ability to make independent decisions based on researched conclusions
Methodical thinker and well organized with excellent time management skills
Client focused disposition
Thrive in both working independently and in a close, collaborative team environment
