Mid, Senior LevelBentley Systems is seeking a Manager, Software Development to lead a team of talented developers building Administrative Portals that power global-scale systems for User Management, Entitlement Management, Software Downloads, and Reporting. This role is pivotal in driving innovation and ensuring service reliability while delivering best-in-class solutions in partnership with Product Management and UX teams.

Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of software developers, fostering growth and technical excellence
Drive agile delivery practices, ensuring timely and high-quality releases
Collaborate with Product Management and UX teams to define priorities and deliver exceptional user experiences
Own end-to-end product delivery, including service reliability and uptime (SLA)
Make data-driven decisions using telemetry and usage insights to improve performance and user satisfaction
Provide technical guidance on architecture, design, and best practices for cloud-native development
Ensure adherence to coding standards, security, and compliance requirements
Promote a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
Monitor team performance and support career development plans
Occasionally travel to meet with remote team members for team engagement and collaboration
Qualification
Required
Proven experience managing software development teams in an agile environment
Strong background in web application development using .NET (C#), React, and Azure
Excellent leadership and mentoring skills with a focus on people development
Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders
Solid understanding of cloud-native architectures and modern development practices
Experience working on enterprise-scale or global systems is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
