Inside Sales & Customer Success Specialist
Milking Cloud is an AgTech platform that combines farm management software with IoT devices to assist dairy farms in monitoring herd health and reproduction. They are seeking a mid-level Inside Sales & Customer Success Specialist who will manage customer relationships, guide them through the purchase process, and provide ongoing support to ensure customer success.
Responsibilities
Contact inbound leads coming from Meta & digital channels
Understand the customer’s dairy farm structure, herd size, and management practices
Discuss solutions in a consultative way and guide customers through the purchase process (Stripe links)
No cold calling, no aggressive quotas
Order fulfillment, shipping, and logistics are handled by dedicated operations teams
Support customers after purchase in both software and IoT device usage
Review alerts and data together with customers (e.g. estrus/heat alarms, activity patterns)
Speak analytically about on-farm situations and help customers interpret what the data means in practice
Proactively check in with existing customers to ensure they are getting real value
Identify successful use cases and collect testimonials & success stories
Support distributors during the sales process when needed
Act as a product, data, and solution reference for partner sales teams
Qualification
Required
Typically 3–6 years of relevant experience in customer-facing roles (Sales, Customer Success, Technical Support, or similar)
Background or hands-on familiarity with dairy / cattle farms (farm work, ag education, veterinary support, feed, breeding, herd management, or AgTech experience)
Comfortable discussing real on-farm scenarios, not just software features
Able to interpret data and speak analytically about animal behavior and alerts
Confident communicating with customers via phone and video
Organized, responsible, and comfortable owning outcomes
Preferred
Experience in SaaS, IoT, or AgTech is a strong plus
Candidates based in agricultural or rural regions with a strong connection to dairy farming communities
