Responsibilities
Perform in-process and final inspections of aerospace components and assemblies
Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer specifications
Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records
Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMM equipment
Support root cause analysis and corrective action activities for nonconforming material
Assist with audits, quality reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues quickly
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in quality inspection or technician role (aerospace preferred)
Strong understanding of aerospace quality standards (AS9100, ISO, FAA requirements)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Familiarity with inspection tools and measurement systems
Experience with NCRs, MRB processes, and quality documentation
High attention to detail and strong communication skills
Preferred
Knowledge of SPC, lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement
Prior experience in machining, composites, or aerospace assembly environments
