Director Sales
KeHE Distributors is an employee-owned distributor of natural and organic, specialty, and fresh products. The Director of Sales Account Management is responsible for managing the relationship between KeHE and Publix Corporate, focusing on driving sales growth and collaboration between the two organizations.

Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted advisor and colleague to the Director Sales Operations and Analytics by providing strategic insights and operational leverage
Collaborate with Publix to develop promotional and new item forecasts utilizing a combination of data and systems from both organizations
Provide timely and accurate information on inventory flows and projections on inventory positions to support customer sales
Lead efforts to improve service level, incorporate trends, and implement root cause solutions
Lead and mentor account team members to meet all customer expectations on support requirements
Deliver timely and accurate sales projections for all new item and promotional activities through managing the AOM process
Partner with the customer to coordinate seasonal programs as well as quarterly features and collaborate with the account team on those programs
Support execution of marketing programs in efforts to grow sales and bring innovation to stores
Educate our customers on items and categories to keep them on a fast-follower trend
Monitor competitor activities and lead customer in development of strategy to win
Proper budgeting and management of sales and expenses related to the customer including sales, credits, expenses, drop size, MCB, EDLP, and extra performance activities
Communicate and work within a team with other KeHE functional areas to meet all customer and company objectives
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years of experience in grocery supply chain or account management
Solid track record of sales success including strategy, planning, and impeccable follow up
Excellent presentation skills including listening and asking impactful questions
Working knowledge of and literacy in computer software, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
Demonstrates the competencies of building effective teams, financial acumen, ability to collaborate, demonstrates courage and manages complexities
Demonstrated ability to proactively recognize and pursue business opportunities
Adherence and prioritization to customer response turnaround time
Excellent verbal and written communication with people at all organizational levels
Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends
Ability and willingness to travel by air and stay overnight for business meetings and to attend KeHE Shows and external shows if necessary
Ability and willingness to travel within assigned region by car
Preferred
4-year bachelor's degree in Business preferred. Equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
