Virtualization Engineer III/UKHC

The University of Kentucky is seeking a Virtualization Engineer III to join their UK HealthCare Information Technology team. This role is responsible for providing tier 3 and some tier 2 support for the Citrix environment, managing Citrix technologies, and fulfilling project tasks while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Establishing strong credibility and collaboration with physicians, customers, department leadership, affiliated organizations, and IT staff members
Providing tier 3 and some tier 2 support for all ITS incidents and requests for UK Healthcare Citrix environment
Managing and supporting Citrix technologies, project management, documentation, problem analysis, design, configuration, and project task fulfillment

Required

BS
5 yrs
VMware or Citrix Professional Level certification. Certifications are required within one year of hire date
Requires knowledge and skills of a professional area outside health care such as accounting, public relations, information systems, etc. typically obtained through experience or a four-year college degree

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree, 5-6 years of job-related experience
