Once trained in unique shop standards, must be able to work independently
Understanding of both Digital and Flexo label printing and preparation
Willingness to learn new software and skills
Willingness to cross-train in other areas of the shop for better coverage
Qualification
Required
This position for ONSITE, LOCAL APPLICANTS ONLY. Please do not apply if you are not local to the Bay Area, optimally within 15-30 miles of Livermore and possess at least 5 years of Prepress Production Experience in a Flexo and/or Digital Label Facility
Prepares OneUp artwork from customer supplied files. Duties range from preflight and correction to trapping, stepping and quality assurance
Highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and Photoshop
Must be detail-oriented and quality-conscious
Once trained in unique shop standards, must be able to work independently
Understanding of both Digital and Flexo label printing and preparation
Willingness to learn new software and skills
Willingness to cross-train in other areas of the shop for better coverage
Preferred
Knowledge of Hybrid software such as PACKZ, Cloudflow and Proofscope
Knowledge and experience with HP Production Pro
Basic knowledge of office applications such as Microsoft Excel and Word
Experience creating files for tooling and ordering tooling such as foils, emboss, varnishes, etc
Experience with color correction and file correction in combination with press checks and press proof scenarios with sales, customer and press team
