Responsibilities
Perform assigned installation, enhancement, and maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, mulching, sod installation, irrigation assembly, and hardscape setup
Follow daily instructions from the Project Foreman or Senior Project Foreman to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Support team members in loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment
Safely operating landscaping tools and equipment according to company and manufacturer guidelines
Reporting equipment issues or malfunctions promptly
Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites throughout the workday
Participate in daily safety meetings and training
Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members regarding project status and concerns
Provide professional, courteous service during client interactions
Ensure all assigned tasks meet company quality standards
Complete work within expected timelines
Seek ways to improve work processes and contribute to team productivity
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to follow detailed instructions and work under supervision
Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Commitment to safety and company policy adherence
Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and manual labor
Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs (heavier loads are team-assisted or accommodated)
Operation of trimmers, blowers, mowers, shovels, and various landscape tools
Adequate vision and hand-eye coordination for safe equipment use
Occasional work at heights, on slopes, ladders, or uneven terrain
Outdoor work in all weather conditions: heat, cold, rain, wind, sun
Potential exposure to noise, dust, pollen, and landscaping materials
Mandatory PPE such as gloves, safety glasses, ear protection, and boots
Early start times
